Join Us Friday for the IAACE Annual Meeting

The Indiana Association for Adult and Continuing Education and the Indiana Literacy Association Annual Meeting is happening this Friday, and we invite all members, partners, and supporters of adult education to join us virtually on Zoom as we come together to celebrate progress, plan for the future, and stay connected to the adult education community across Indiana.

While the IAACE Board of Directors will be meeting in person at MADE@Plainfield, members from across the state are encouraged to attend online and be part of the conversation. Guests are welcome to attend in person, please reserve your seat by emailing Jenn at director@iaace.com

This year’s meeting agenda includes several important association updates and opportunities for member engagement, including:

• Review and approval of the 2025 Annual Meeting Minutes
• 2026-2027 Budget approval
• Bylaw Revision approval
• Strategic Plan review and progress
• Release of the 2026 IAACE Board Election results

To help the meeting run efficiently, we encourage attendees to review the 2025 meeting minutes in advance so we can move promptly into the motion for approval during the meeting.

We are also pleased to share that all attendees will receive a Certificate of Attendance that may be used toward Professional Development Points.

Attendees will also hear from an outstanding lineup of guest speakers who continue to advocate for and strengthen adult education at both the state and national levels:

• Sharon Bonney from Coalition on Adult Basic Education
• Lauren Box, IAACE Lobbyist from Barnes and Thornburg
• Lara Pastore from Indiana Department of Workforce Development

Their insights will provide valuable updates on advocacy, workforce initiatives, national trends, and the future of adult education.

This meeting is more than annual business—it is an opportunity to stay informed, engaged, and connected with professionals who are making a difference in adult education every day.
