Retirement Recognition
Each year at the IAACE Conference, we proudly recognize members who have retired from the field of adult education and honor their contributions to learners, programs, and the profession.
Eligibility Requirements
To be recognized as an IAACE retiree, you must:
- Be retired from the field of adult education
- Have been an IAACE member for at least one year
- Be a current IAACE member at the time of recognition
- Submit a Retiree Recognition Form by the published deadline
How to Submit
Recognition requests may be submitted by the retiree or by a colleague on their behalf. Forms must be received by the annual deadline to be included in conference recognition activities.
Important Information
Retiree Recognition is an IAACE membership benefit. Submission of the recognition form is required to participate in official recognition activities.
IAACE reserves the right to modify or discontinue this benefit at any time. Any changes will be communicated through the IAACE website.

Retiree Membership
Stay connected to the adult education community you’ve helped shape!
IAACE offers a special Retiree Membership for individuals who are:
- Age 55 or older and retired from an adult education organization, or
- Eligible under the Rule of 85 (your age plus your years of service in adult education equals 85 or more).
Membership Options
- $20 for a one-year membership
- $55 for a lifetime membership
