We appreciate you!

As I complete my 2-year role as the IAACE Membership Committee Chairperson at the end of this month, I just wanted to take this opportunity to express my gratitude to each and every one of you for being a member of IAACE. Whether this is your first year as a member or you have renewed your membership year after year, we appreciate you! We would not be able to accomplish anything without our members! Last year, we implemented our Member Perks Program, which allows you to use your Member Perks Card to receive discounts at various businesses across the state. A HUGE shout out to IAACE board member and membership committee member Amy Richmund, who designed the Member Perks Card and helped find businesses offering discounts to our members. Your creative ability is top-notch, and you brought my idea to life!

In 2024, we increased our membership by 37 more people than last year, and we saw an increase in our organizational memberships. Another huge announcement at the IAACE Annual Meeting is that we changed our committee name from “Membership Committee” to “Collaboration and Engagement Committee.” We feel this new name encompasses our passion for strengthening connections among our members so we can partner to strengthen our organization. Although my time on the IAACE Board and as the Collaboration and Engagement Chairperson is ending, I am still planning on being a part of this committee as we have a few more ideas that we are excited to implement this summer!
