Celebrating the Power of Adult Education Across Indiana

Adult Education and Family Literacy Week (AEFL Week) is a time to elevate the importance of adult education in strengthening communities, supporting families, and building a skilled workforce. This year, Indiana is taking big steps to spotlight the impact of our programs and celebrate the success of adult learners.

🏛️ Governor’s Proclamation Confirmed!

We’re excited to announce that Governor Braun will issue an official proclamation recognizing Adult Education and Family Literacy Week in Indiana! This recognition highlights the state’s commitment to lifelong learning and acknowledges the dedication of adult education teachers, directors, and staff across Indiana.

🏙️ Local Support is Growing

In addition to the statewide proclamation, several mayors across Indiana have already stepped up to support AEFL Week by issuing city proclamations, including:

Greenfield
Jeffersonville
LaPorte
New Albany

And more are on the way!
