Your Membership, Your Impact: Why Attending the Annual Meeting & Elections Matters

Being a member of IAACE and ILA is more than just a title—it’s a commitment to advancing adult education. It’s a chance to shape the future, influence decisions, and ensure our collective voice is heard. One of the most important ways to actively engage in your membership is by participating in the Annual Membership Meeting and Elections.

This gathering isn’t just another meeting—it’s where the direction of our organizations is set, leadership is confirmed, and key initiatives are discussed. If you care about the future of adult education in Indiana and beyond, your participation is vital.

Voting in the IAACE elections is one of the most impactful ways you can contribute to the organization. By casting your ballot, you help select leaders who will guide IAACE into the future, advocate for adult education, and work to ensure that members’ voices are heard at every level. Your vote shapes the policies and priorities that affect adult educators and learners across Indiana. Engaged members create a stronger, more effective organization, and your participation in the election process is a key part of that.
