Tech Jam

A session at COABE that I really enjoyed was the Tech Jam. A Tech Jam is where attendees “show everyone something you know or something you learned about edtech and digital learning during the conference.” Each presentation is three minutes long. They were all good, but I’m passing these three to you:

  1. “Find and customize one of the millions of ready-made bingo cards, or use the simple bingo card generator to create your own. Then, print as many cards as you need. You can even play virtual bingo using a computer, smartphone, or tablet. It’s fast and easy. ” https://bingobaker.com/
  2. Want to have emojis on hand to insert into _____?  In Windows, on your keyboard, click the Windows button, and the period is at the same time. A window should pop up with emojis and symbols.  Link
  3. Perplexity-GEn is an AI-powered search tool. When researching a topic, you can ask for sources, attach files, and create rubrics.

The list is awesome, so I suggest you go to this Padlet. The first column is Tech Jam. There is lots more AI stuff, such as Google Tips and Skillblox, which I will be researching.

World Education presented the session. If you would like to add a session like this to our conference, please comment and let us know!
