COABE 2026 Is Coming to Indy: Let’s Roll Out the Hoosier Hospitality

Indianapolis is getting ready to welcome the adult education community from across the country, and COABE 2026 is bringing the energy right to our backyard. This is a big moment for Indiana, a chance to show off our programs, our people, and the heart behind adult education, all with a healthy dose of Hoosier hospitality.

As we get closer, we have three friendly asks to help everyone get conference-ready.

1. Make sure your IAACE membership is current
Your IAACE membership opens the door to savings ($75). When your IAACE membership is up to date, your COABE membership stays current too, keeping you connected, eligible, and ready to participate. A quick check now saves headaches later and keeps you in the loop at both the state and national level.

2. Register for the conference by February 17
Go ahead and get it on your calendar. Registering by February 17 helps with planning and ensures Indiana shows up strong and saves you $50. With COABE happening in Indy, this is one of the easiest opportunities to attend, learn, and connect without the travel stress.

3. Click the volunteer option when you register
This is where the magic happens. Volunteers help welcome attendees, support sessions, and keep the conference running smoothly. It is also a wonderful way to meet colleagues from across the country and show off the warmth, friendliness, and pride that Hoosiers are known for.

COABE 2026 in Indianapolis is more than a conference. It is our chance to open the doors, pull up a chair, and say, “We’re glad you’re here.” By checking your membership, registering early, and volunteering, you help make this a memorable experience for everyone.
