Teachers Talk-Trials and Triumphs
This month we were joined by Whitney Pentecost from New Castle Correctional Facility. Whitney is an establish teacher with a teaching license in Life Science (5-12), Mild/Moderate Intervention in Special Education (P-12), and Early Literacy Endorsement (P-5). She is currently working on a Master’s Degree in Secondary Education (Master of Arts Teaching Degree) through Oakland City University.Whitney shared some of her experiences teaching in the Correctional Facilities, her favorite strategies, and best “a-ha” moments with students.
