It’s that time of year again when we come together to spotlight the heart and soul of Indiana Adult Education. The 2025 IAACE Awards nomination period is officially open, and we couldn’t be more excited to honor the outstanding individuals and organizations that make our field extraordinary.

We’ve refreshed all the award descriptions and nomination forms to ensure they better reflect the excellence, diversity, and impact of our adult education community. The updates make it easier than ever to highlight the strengths, stories, and successes of the people who make a difference every single day.

Whether you nominate a standout learner, an innovative educator, a behind-the-scenes support star, or a community partner, the updated criteria help tell their story more clearly and powerfully.

🏆 Celebrate the Best in Our Field

The IAACE Awards are more than plaques and applause—they’re a moment to honor the passion, perseverance, and professionalism that drive adult education in Indiana forward. And that starts with YOU.

We invite IAACE members from all regions to lift up the colleagues, students, volunteers, administrators, and business partners who have gone above and beyond. Ideally, each region will submit a nomination in every category, because every corner of our state has amazing stories worth telling.

📅 Important Dates:

Nominations are open now through August 15, 2025.
The Awards Ceremony will be held on Wednesday, September 24 at 7:00 p.m. at the Blue Chip Casino – Stardust Ballroom in Michigan City, IN.
Retiree recognition forms are due by August 30, 2025.
