How IAACE Board Elections Work

IAACE is committed to a fair, transparent, and member-driven election process. The information below explains how nominations, voting, and election results are managed in accordance with the IAACE Bylaws.

Election Committee

The Nomination and Election Committee oversees the election process, verifies candidate eligibility, validates ballots, and certifies election results. Committee members may not be candidates while serving on the committee.

Step 1

Nominations Open

Members may nominate themselves or another eligible member during the nomination period.


Step 2

Eligibility Review

The Nomination and Election Committee verifies eligibility and willingness to serve.


Step 3

Candidate Slate

The committee prepares the official slate in accordance with the bylaws.

Step 4

Member Voting

Eligible members receive an electronic ballot and vote during the published election period.

Vote Verification

Ballots are verified by the Nomination and Election Committee.

How will I receive my ballot?

Electronically using the email associated with your membership.

Can I vote more than once?

No. Each eligible member receives one ballot.
