Where should you enter the Indiana State House?

All State House visitors are required to use one of the two public entrances. The upper-level east entrance, near Capitol Ave. and Market St., and the lower-level west entrance (ADA compliant) are accessible via the Robert D. Orr Plaza. These entrances will have metal detectors and screening devices that Indiana State Police Capitol Police will monitor. Those with pacemakers, defibrillators, or other medical devices must first notify the Indiana State Police Capitol Police officers staffing the entrance. A search will be conducted with a hand-held metal detector. Please note that no one may carry, either openly or concealed, firearms or other dangerous weapons.
