New Faces, New Roles, Same Passion for Adult Education: Meet Your 2025 IAACE Board Leaders!
The Indiana Association for Adult and Continuing Education (IAACE) is proud to welcome new leaders and celebrate familiar faces stepping into new roles on our 2025 Board of Directors. With deep dedication and diverse experience, this team is ready to continue driving forward the mission of adult education across Indiana.
Here’s a look at the latest updates to our board leadership:
🔹 Caroline Foster, region 3, now serves as President, bringing her thoughtful leadership and commitment to excellence to the forefront of our work.
🔹 Katie Walton, regions 9 and 10, transitions into the role of Past President, offering continuity and wisdom as a valued advisor to the board.
🔹 Dustin Bentz, region 9, moves from Treasurer to President-Elect, continuing his strong service with strategic insight and vision.
🔹 Maeve Warrick, region 5, takes on the role of Secretary, and we’re grateful for her attention to detail and consistent contributions to the board.
🔹 Laura Elsbrock, region 7, steps into the role of Treasurer, and we’re excited to welcome her expertise in financial stewardship.
🔹 Hannah Price, region 11, joins the board to fulfill Maeve’s one-year term, and we look forward to her fresh energy and ideas.
In addition, we welcome three new board members who have been elected to serve two-year terms:
🔹 Leo Patino, region 2, Warsaw Adult Education
🔹 Jane Coulter, region 9 Ivy Tech Corrections
🔹 Mark Fridenmaker, region 1, Ivy Tech Corrections
Returning board members continuing their service include:
🔹 Carol Bible, region 5
🔹 David Shepherd, region 1
🔹 Denise Esslinger, region 5
And we are pleased to share that Tom Miller remains the ILA-appointed board member, continuing his vital role in representing our state’s literacy efforts and resource committee.
