Digital Skills Lab for Lifelong Learning: Computer and Tablet Essentials on April 27 at 1:30 pm ET

The Digital Skills Lab is a program designed to help our members improve their digital skills through facilitation and guided learning. The program is designed to be a collaborative effort, allowing participants to learn together and from each other.

This Thursday, April 27th, the Digital Skills Lab will be focusing on Computer and Tablet Essentials. This session will cover the basic skills necessary to use a computer or tablet effectively. Participants will learn some great tips that are essential to help you work faster and smarter.

The session will be led by facilitators Neil Richmund and Jenn Wigginton, who will guide participants through the learning process. The facilitator will present material and allow time for hands-on practice and support as participants work through the material.

Some of the topics that will be covered during the session include:

  • Navigating the operating system (Windows or Mac)
  • Using the internet and web browsers
  • Creating and saving documents tips
  • Basic troubleshooting tips

Participants are encouraged to be on the Zoom with access to their devices (laptops or tablets) to the session so they can follow along with the instruction and practice the tips and activities.

The Digital Skills Lab is open to all members and guests of members. Whether you are a complete beginner or just looking to brush up on your skills, this program is designed to meet your needs. The program is free of charge, and no registration is required.
