There’s Gold in Your Membership
IAACE membership is golden! The benefits include an e-newsletter, blog, member directory, discounts on professional development, discounts with WGU and Grand Canyon University, membership to COABE, AAACE, and ILA, and the support to advocacy for the field of adult and continuing education. This last benefit has gotten expanded. I’m excited to announce that I have been accepted into the COABE State Advocates for Adult Education Fellowship. This is a year-long program that I will learn how to lead your state in Adult Education advocacy! Network with leaders from across the country and gain critical skills with long-term personal and career benefits. Training, mentorship, materials, and support are provided by COABE. I am looking forward to the opportunity to learn and grow my skills concerning advocacy. The first session is Thursday, March 18, from 8:30 am-11:30 am, therefore I am moving my normal Zoom office hour to Friday at 9:30 am CDT/10:30 EDT. You can join me then, and I’ll share my insight from session one and help you with anything IAACE.
