Ribbit, A new year

Howdy,

How are you doing so far this year?

Did you set goals for this year?

Did you set an intention?

Did you set a word?

Did you bypass all that new year’s mumbo jumbo?

Don’t get me wrong, I love goals and intentions, but I try not to make a ‘New Year Goal.’  The main reason is it always creates a sense of exhilaration initially, but it can quickly turn into frustration.  According to the author Eric Papp, that gap comes from “feeling the gap from where you are to where you want to be.”  Or what he calls Frustrationville.  I don’t want to end up there!  So I make goals from within projects.  My goals from within my big project, IAACE membership, are consistently about building relationships, my main intention. This intention flows into all my projects within my position with IAACE and really my life in general.  So now you might be thinking, ‘get to the point, Jenn.’  My point is I’m always seeking ways to create, build, improve relationships within IAACE, so I’m going to take this time to ask you, how can I help you?

Do you have a goal or an intention that I can help with?

Do you have a technology tool on your list but haven’t had time to check it out?

Is there something you want to learn but need a start?

My ultimate goal is to make your membership easy and beneficial, so again I ask, What can I do for you today?
